I am part of the Year Out Drama Company in Stratford, run by Deborah Moody. We have just finished our first play 'Agamemnon' in which I played a chorus member and part of the Clytemnestra role which was shared. I was part of Blunderbus Youth Theatre for ten years and with them, performed in many of their shows: 'Scrooge' the musical in the Chorus at age eleven; 'Oliver!'the musical as a Fagins Boy at age twelve; and 'The Wind in the Willows' the musical as Ratty at age sixteen. In August 2006 I went up to the Edinburgh festival to be part of Blunderbus' professional show, 'The Rainbow Fish' as a puppeteer. I was working 15 hour days and loved it, bringing in full houses! In the same summer I also took the National Youth Theatre course which was fantastic under Rachel Nicholson and I was involved in the 'God Save the Teen' performance of 1000 youths in Trafalgar square. In the August of 2007 I returned to the Edinburgh festival with Blunderbus, this time heading their professional show 'The Rainbow Fish' which was brilliant, as well as performing in their other show 'The Selfish Crocodile'. I have an A* at GCSE Drama, an A at AS Level and A Level Theatre Studies. I got 2 other A grades and a B at A level. At school i have been part of many productions: 'Cabaret'; 'The Crucible' as Betty Paris; 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle' as First Lawyer; 'Superman the Panto', 'The Miracle' as Miss Lowery in association with Connexions, and 'We'll Meet Again' more recently as Assistant Director. I am currently looking forward to the rest of my course in Stratford before applying once again to a selection of drama schools across the UK.
