I am just on half term from my first term in Stratford Upon Avon as a part of Deborah Moody's Year Out Drama Company. It is fantastic! I am working long hours doing all sorts of acting, being exposed to all sorts of theatre and acting methods. I have singing every week and two sessions of dance (contemporary and jazz) a week.
We have just finished our first show, 'Agamemnon' by Berkoff, done by all 26 members and I performed as a chorus member and for a third of the play the part of Clytemnestra which was a chance to really stretch myself. It was a huge success.
I have made some awesome friends and am looking forward to seeing what else we do throughout the year, especially meeting and being directed by some professional directors.

I was in a professional show of the above title at Christmas time. I loved it and I really miss it. I felt like I was finally doing what I want to do and although I was only an ensemble member, I know for certain that acting is what I want to do. I miss it; the only bad bit of acting is having to move from one project to the next when you made such good friends

I have been auditioning for drama schools. I have been to Guildhall, ALRA, RADA and Drama Centre so far but I haven't had any recalls. I have a few more coming up but I doubt it will all fall into place this year. Hey, there is always next year and I am only 17 :D It is hard though, to keep going and keep smiling. I had a bit of a crisis, thinking maybe I am just not good enough. However, in this industry you have just gotta keep your head up and keep smiling!
